WGRC show jumpers clean up at the Area 9 trials

The WGRC juniors are flying high at the moment, having won the Area 9 Show jumping qualifier at Leyland Court. The team consisting of Ben Newman, Morgan Kent, Sophie Barnes and Rebecca Cockleton, jumped their socks off to finish after two rounds on a score of 4 faults.

Ben Newman who won the Junior Individual 80cms Horse trials at the Area 9 qualifier at West Wilts in July, went on to win at the National Championships, held at Swalcliffe. Ben and his horse Midnight did an excellent dressage test to score 28.5, before jumping a fabulous double clear,
